How do customers find partners they want to work with?

July 25, 2021/in Partner Information /by Ask Steve

Customers are able to identify partners they want to work with a number of ways:

  1. They search Cloud Centre and isolate services available based on their needs
  2. They hear about services and specialties available in our ecosystem via our customer stories page, as well as through the thought-leadership article we co-author with many of our partners and feature on our website’s blog section
  3. They see partners and services available inside each data centre, as promoted on our digital screens
  4. They ask our team for suggestions (so, it always pays to be nice to us)

What if my data centre footprint and power needs to change?

July 25, 2021/in General Information /by Ask Steve

Our data centre solutions are engineered to scale. If your power needs change, where you are consistently using above and beyond 100% of your contracted power, our team proactively work with you to help re-level you to a power allocation that suits your current requirements.

When it comes to your physical footprint needs, every space is customised. We work closely with you to plan for your current and future-state requirements to ensure your short- and medium-term requirements are factored into your data centre space. We also offer first right of refusal for surrounding racks to your contracted footprint, should you wish to reserve the right to take up additional physical space at any stage (how cool is that?). We go above and beyond to help you capacity plan and build an environment that suits your specific needs, all of which is seamlessly interconnected via dark fibre and NEXTDC’s Data Centre Interconnect infrastructure.

What connectivity options do you offer?

July 25, 2021/in Technical /by Ask Steve

NEXTDC is Australia’s major interconnection hub for digital businesses. And interconnection is the linchpin for every digital transformation strategy. Adopting an interconnection-first strategy enables organisations to solve networking issues, avoid security risks, and overcome data and application performance challenges.

NEXTDC’s digital infrastructure platform offers organisations a range of interconnection solutions that deliver direct interconnectivity to the leading public cloud platforms, the nation’s carrier networks, the largest digital ecosystem of specialist ICT service providers, customers and vendors. So, what does this mean to you (and your customers)? Well:

  1. Instead of connecting to cloud over the Public Internet, we enable direct-to-cloud private connections between a colocated data centre environment and any cloud within the same data centre via a dedicated Cross Connect.
  2. NEXTDC facilitates access to virtual cloud orchestration and connectivity platforms. AXON enables organisations to form direct network connections to multiple cloud providers. This approach brings further efficiencies to a Hybrid Multi-Cloud environment, enabling performance improvement, increased flexibility and lower bandwidth costs.
  3. NEXTDC offers inter and intra-data centre connectivity with Data Centre Interconnects and Cross Connects. NEXTDC’s Data Centre Interconnects (DCI) and Cross Connects enable direct interconnection to cloud service providers, network service providers, customers and partners who reside within any NEXTDC facility located in the same metropolitan area (DCI) or within the same campus (Cross Connect).
