How do customers find partners they want to work with?

July 25, 2021/in Partner Information /by Ask Steve

Customers are able to identify partners they want to work with a number of ways:

  1. They search Cloud Centre and isolate services available based on their needs
  2. They hear about services and specialties available in our ecosystem via our customer stories page, as well as through the thought-leadership article we co-author with many of our partners and feature on our website’s blog section
  3. They see partners and services available inside each data centre, as promoted on our digital screens
  4. They ask our team for suggestions (so, it always pays to be nice to us)

What’s Cloud Centre, and how can my business be added?

July 25, 2021/in Partner Information /by Ask Steve

Cloud Centre is the online location on nextdc.com where you can find the partners that make up our ecosystem (it’s THE place to hang out). Cloud Centre is also where our customers and other partners go when they are looking for an IT service or a particular partner of choice anywhere within our national footprint.

As a NEXTDC partner, and as soon as you establish your initial point of presence (POP), we invite you to set up your own Cloud Centre profile so you too will be displayed in future customer searches. You can find the Cloud Centre profile set up form at nextdc.com/partners/resources

Can I attend and work with NEXTDC to host customer tours at NEXTDCs data centres?

July 25, 2021/in Partner Information /by Ask Steve

Absolutely. In fact, we strongly recommend it. Along with customer tours, we can support executive briefings or general information sessions hosted within our facilities. Customers need to see what their solution is made up of, especially when it means outsourcing infrastructure traditionally managed and owned inhouse. And we know that not all data centres are created equal, so this stage of the sales cycle is an important one.

Our tours are generally the linchpin that help us demonstrate the real value, resiliency and interconnection capability our facilities deliver. So, if you have a customer looking for reassurance that the solution you’re proposing is backed by the highest levels of reliability and resilience in the Australian market – bring them along to see us. Or if you’ve got customers actively looking to migrate their IT footprint to a colocation facility, we can demonstrate the capability and reliability of your NEXTDC solution and help you strengthen your sales strategy exponentially.

Simply contact your Partner Account Manager to discuss your requirements, and we’ll work with you to build an onsite experience that will support and complement your sales strategy, and knock your customers’ socks off.

What are the partner program levels and partner benefits associated?

July 25, 2021/in Partner Information /by Ask Steve

NEXTDC’s partner program is built to minimise complexity or any overheads required from our partners. For simplicity, our Partner Program comprises of two levels, Premier and Service Provider status. The only difference between the levels is Opportunity Registration, which is available to Premier Partners and the discount off of SRP.

Do you give partners leads?

July 25, 2021/in Partner Information /by Ask Steve

Yes, all the time. We acquire hundreds of leads every quarter. Roughly 15% of them are given to our partners where we know there is close alignment to the customer’s needs. We allocate most leads that are one rack or less. Or where there is interest in a fully managed service, or colocation bundled with alternative cloud based services, we seek the support of our partners to manage the lead.

Ad. You wouldn't park your Maserati on the street. So where do your clients keep their IT? Give their data storage the Maserati treatment. NEXTDC.
